About IDAB

The Virginia Tech Industrial Design Advisory Board (IDAB) is a group of individuals who provide support and guidance for the Industrial Design Program in Virginia Tech’s College of Architecture, Arts, and Design. Their main function is to help the program stay current with industry trends and developments, raise funds for resources and student support, and offer professional development and mentorship opportunities. IDAB helps bridge the gap between academics and industry, and seeks to build strong, mutually beneficial relationships between the program, students, alumni, and professional communities.

Meet the Board

IDAB is made up of members who are tied to the Virginia Tech Industrial Design (VTID) community. They volunteer their time toward fulfilling goals to create networking opportunities, provide student economic support, and elevate program success.
